Venue: Government Primary School Dadhog
As part of its continued collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, Himachal Pradesh, Himdent Foundation successfully organised a three-day free dental treatment camp under the Smiling Schools programme at Government Primary School (GPS) Dadhog from 26th to 28th May 2025. The camp was organised with the aim to improve oral health awareness and provide preventive and restorative dental care.
Camp Activities:
The program included a complete dental check-up for children and staff followed by on-site treatment. On the first day of the camp, children were given dental information, and a total of 25 children were examined, followed by treatment over the next two days and a total of 67 teeth were filled with permanent fillings, ensuring timely intervention to prevent further decay and discomfort.
Parent-specific guidance for maintaining children’s dental hygiene:
Meanwhile, parents of the students also participated in the oral health orientation lecture, ensuring community-level impact and encouraging consistent oral health practices at home.
Community engagement:
The camp saw active participation of the school principal, teaching staff and parents, who appreciated the initiative and its long-term value for children’s health. Their presence and cooperation contributed significantly to the smooth execution of the programme. We thank the school staff, the students, and our ever-dedicated team members.
