This is the first free dental checkup and treatment camp in Himachal Pradesh after signing MoU with Samagra Shiksha Himachal Pradesh. Himdent Foundation organised a 4-day free dental camp at Government Middle School Kotla Kalan from 19th May to 22nd May, 2025 under the Smiling School Programme. The school became a place of healing and transformation. On the first day, we set up our equipment and examined 41 students, out of which 30 had dental problems. Over the next three days, 76 teeth were fixed by providing permanent fillings.
On the last day of the camp, our team was presented with momento by the school staff and SMC Chairman. The presence of the school principal, teachers and SMC Chairman made it clear: when the whole community supports children’s health, incredible things happen. This initiative of Himdent Foundation was appreciated by the school staff and the entire community. we thank to school staff and the entire community to their support.
As we packed up on the last day and started to return, we were delighted to see the laughter of the children, who were smiling more openly than ever before.
