Healthy Smiles, Bright Future – Dental Camp under Smiling Schools Programme at GHSS ONI
On 5th November 2024, the Himdent Foundation team once again reached GHSS ONI early in the morning to provide dental treatment to the students who were left out during the last camp under the Smiling Schools Programme. Starting with the students who were left out during the last camp,
During the camp, our dental team provided permanent fillings for 6 students, covering a total of 12 permanent teeth. These treatments were done to prevent the progression of tooth decay and restore their dental health.
The smiles on these children’s faces were the biggest reward for our team. It’s not just about dental treatment – it’s about creating awareness, encouraging preventive care and ensuring that no child suffers silently from toothache due to lack of care.
Through the Smiling Schools program, Himdent Foundation is committed to reaching out to remote and rural schools to prioritise oral health.
