Himdent Foundation conducts successful Dental Health Camp at Government Middle School Jarol, Narkanda, Shimla
On October 16, 2024, Himdent Foundation conducted yet another Dental Health Camp under the Smiling Schools Programme at Government Middle School (GMS) Jarol, located in Narkanda, Shimla. The aim of this camp is to continue our mission of promoting dental health in remote areas.
Reaching on Time: A Day Dedicated to Dental Awareness
Our team reached the school on time after travelling from Narkanda to GMS Jarol for the day’s activities. After the school prayer, Dr. Aditya Vohra led an orientation lecture for the children educating them about the importance of dental hygiene to ensure that the students understand the importance of taking care of their teeth from an early age.
Checkups and Community Engagement
After the lecture, we conducted 25 dental checkups for the students. The camp was completely focused on creating awareness and providing dental assessment, the teachers and staff were highly appreciative of the efforts made by Himdent Foundation, acknowledging the positive impact of increasing dental health awareness among their students.
The Journey Ahead: Commitment to Dental Health
After finishing the camp, our team returned to Dehradun while Dr. Aditya Vohra and Dr. Tanya Kumar continued their journey to Kaza in Lahaul Spiti Valley to expand the reach of the Smiling Schools program.
Conclusion: A Step Towards Healthy Smiles
