Free Dental Health Camp at GIC Dwara: Day 1 Highlights (24/09/2024)
On the first day of the dental health camp at GIC Dwara, Contact 1, we started early, eager to provide much-needed dental care to the students. The day was filled with excitement and dedication as we aimed to cover as many students as possible, ensuring they received the necessary treatment.
Early Start and Setup
The team arrived early to set up our equipment and prepare for the day’s treatments. Our goal was to create a smooth and efficient process, allowing students to get checked and treated without any delays. The atmosphere was full of energy as we began, knowing the positive impact this camp would have on the students.
Treatment Focus: Class 10th Students
Our primary focus for the day was treating the students of Class 10th. These young students showed remarkable patience and enthusiasm, understanding the importance of dental care. By the end of the day, we had successfully completed 15 permanent restorations, covering seven students from this class. Each student was treated with utmost care, ensuring they left with healthy smiles.
Orientation by Dr. Aditya Vohra
In addition to the treatment, Dr. Aditya Vohra conducted an insightful orientation session for the students of Classes 11 and 12. The lecture emphasised the importance of dental hygiene, preventive care, and the long-term benefits of maintaining oral health. The students were highly engaged and excited to learn more about how they can take care of their teeth. Their enthusiasm was a true testament to the importance of awareness and education in dental health.
This camp promises to bring lasting benefits to the students, setting the foundation for better dental health in the future.
