Free Dental Health Camp at GIC Dwara: Day 2 Highlights (25/09/2024)
Day 2 of the dental health camp at GIC Dwara, marking the second day of our third visit, began with renewed energy as we continued our mission to provide essential dental care to the students. After a successful first day, we were well-prepared to treat more students and address any urgent health concerns that arose.
Focus on Class 10th Students Continues
Following the progress of the first day, we continued focusing on completing treatments for the students of Class 10th. The students arrived with anticipation, knowing they were receiving quality care. Throughout the day, we performed numerous permanent restorations and other dental treatments, ensuring that each student left the camp with a healthier, brighter smile.
Unexpected Return of the Injured Boy
During the day, a boy who had sustained a serious head injury on the first day of the camp unexpectedly returned to school without receiving stitches for his large wound. Recognising the urgency of the situation, our team immediately took him to the nearby Primary Health Care (PHC) centre for proper medical treatment.
At the PHC, doctors promptly attended to the boy, providing the necessary stitches to close the wound. His recovery was now on the right track, and we were relieved to know that he would heal properly after receiving the required care.
Looking Ahead
Despite the unexpected challenges, Day 2 of the camp was another success. We not only continued to provide vital dental care to the students but also ensured that the injured boy received the medical attention he needed. Our team remains committed to making a lasting impact on the oral and overall health of the students at GIC Dwara.
