Himdent Foundation conduct dental health camp under Smiling Schools Program

We are extremely happy to share the success story of our dental health camp under the Smiling Schools program at GPS Tilwari, Dehradun. This is the first camp sponsored by the wonderful organization called Smiles For All.
Day 1: Setting up all the dental equipment for Smiles (23rd November)
The camp started on a positive note as our team set up all the facilities early in the morning. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the children eagerly gathered.
To begin the camp, our senior dentist delivered an engaging orientation lecture, emphasising the importance of dental hygiene and its impact on overall health. The children were attentive and inquisitive, asking questions and interacting with the team.After the session, we conducted a detailed dental check-up for the children. we did 21 check-up before end of the day
Day 2: Focus on Treatment (November 25)
The second day was dedicated to treatment. 29 permanent fillings were done in 17 children on the second day of the camp. This was necessary to address issues like cavities and prevent further dental problems.
Impact and Conclusion
This camp was not just about providing dental treatment – it was about creating awareness and promoting a culture of oral hygiene among young minds. The support of Smile For All was crucial in making this event a success.
